In 2003, for the last week in May and the first week in June, Peter and I again flew with our bikes to Iceland. This time the main objective was to observe the annular eclipse of the Sun in the early morning of the 31st May. But really this was just an excuse to go back to Iceland and visit the parts we did not reach last time - notably the West Fiords and Þorsmörk in the south-west.
